PipeBots For Rising Mains
Undertaken in partnership with Thames Water and The University of Sheffield, PipeBots for Rising Mains aims to create an effective solution for assessing the interior condition of waste water networks.
No-Dig Leak Repair
In collaboration with Thames Water and The University of Sheffield, No-Dig Leak Repair aims to develop a method for leak repair on live water mains without large excavations.
Project GRAID
Developed with National Grid, Project GRAID was designed to offer high quality visual inspection of interior conditions of live gas transmission pipes.
STASS: System Two
Assess and Seal Solution
STASS, developed with Northern Gas Networks and ALH Systems, is a live access robotic system for the survey, assessment and treatment of joints with anaerobic sealant to prevent and seal leaks.
LeakVISION
LeakVISION is the world’s first patented in-pipe infrared leak detection system. Synovate led a consortium of collaborators on the project including NGN, ROSEN, iTouch Systems and Cadent gas.
TORS: Tier One
Replacement System
TORS is a multi stage robotic platform for the replacement and connection of PE service connections to mains without large scale excavations. TORS was developed in collaboration with Cadent Gas.
MicroBORE
MicroBORE is our lateral, under-kerb drilling solution for installation of property side fibre connections. Developed in conjunction with BT Openreach, MicroBORE represents our expansion into telecom solutions.
